Terms of Service for Byeolmung
These Terms govern your use of Byeolmung, also shown as 별멍, including free app features, Byeolmung Pro, account features, AI-generated readings, support, and related services at sidera.app.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, opening, subscribing to, or using Byeolmung, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Apple App Store terms also apply to downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and device platform features.
2. What Byeolmung Provides
Byeolmung combines zodiac constellations, astronomy timing, AR sky direction, daily horoscope readings, compatibility readings, notifications, Live Activities, and subscription features. Some features require internet access, location permission, iCloud availability, a signed-in account, or an active Byeolmung Pro entitlement.
3. Astrology And AI Content
Byeolmung's horoscope, compatibility, and astrology content is for informational, reflective, and entertainment purposes. It is not medical, mental health, legal, financial, safety, or professional advice. Do not use the app as the only basis for important decisions about health, relationships, finances, travel, employment, safety, or legal rights.
Some readings are generated or assisted by AI systems such as OpenAI or Anthropic models. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, repetitive, or inappropriate despite our safeguards. You are responsible for how you interpret and use the content.
4. Accounts And Sign-In
Some features may use Firebase Auth and social sign-in providers such as Apple, Google, or Kakao. You are responsible for keeping your device, Apple ID, and provider account secure. You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for abuse, or bypass authentication and entitlement checks.
5. Byeolmung Pro And Apple Subscriptions
Byeolmung Pro may unlock detailed readings, expanded compatibility, planet transit alerts, Live Activities, and other paid features. Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's StoreKit system and may be managed with RevenueCat. The app metadata currently describes a 3-day free trial before the monthly subscription begins, where available in your region and account state.
Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, refund eligibility, payment method handling, and family sharing behavior are controlled by Apple and your App Store settings. To cancel, use iOS Settings or the App Store subscription management screen before the renewal date. Deleting the app or deleting your Byeolmung account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
Prices, trial availability, features, and renewal terms can vary by country, account, app version, promotion, and App Store configuration. The purchase sheet shown by Apple at the time of purchase controls the transaction terms.
6. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion through the in-app deletion flow where available, or by contacting innerbuilder.co@gmail.com. Account deletion is designed to remove local app data, delete the Cloudflare D1 auth mapping for the server-resolved account, and request deletion of the matching RevenueCat customer record. Some records may remain where required for security, payment processing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or Apple subscription administration.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Byeolmung to harass, threaten, defame, exploit, or harm others.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, automate, or bypass rate limits on the app or Cloudflare backend.
- Attempt to access another user's account, Firebase identity, RevenueCat customer record, iCloud data, or local app data.
- Submit prompts, support messages, or inputs intended to produce illegal, abusive, hateful, sexual, or self-harm content.
- Misrepresent AI-generated astrology content as professional advice or guaranteed prediction.
- Remove notices, copy protected app assets, or redistribute paid features without permission.
8. Your Content And Feedback
You keep your rights in information you enter into the app, such as profile details, partner profiles, and support messages. You give us permission to process that information as needed to operate the app, provide support, improve reliability, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. If you send feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to compensate you.
9. Our Content And Software
Byeolmung's app design, text, generated assets, compiled software, brand names, and service layout are owned by us or licensed to us. Third-party software and service notices are listed on the Licenses page. These Terms do not give you ownership of the app, backend, models, brand, or paid features.
10. Availability And Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, routes, model providers, caches, subscription offerings, or support channels. Internet services, iCloud, Firebase Auth, RevenueCat, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Anthropic, Apple services, and location features may be unavailable or inaccurate at times. We try to keep core features reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted service.
11. Disclaimers
Byeolmung is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee that astrology readings, AI output, sky calculations, compatibility scores, notifications, or Live Activities will be accurate, timely, complete, or suitable for your specific purpose.
12. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of data; loss of profits; subscription decisions; relationship decisions; reliance on astrology or AI output; or service interruptions. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under applicable consumer protection law, App Store rules, or privacy law. If a mandatory local rule conflicts with these Terms, the mandatory rule controls for that conflict.
